Halloween Weekend in Missoula: Ghost Walks, Rocky Horror, Corn Maze |
Four nights of ghost walks, two nights of Rocky Horror at the Wilma, the last outdoor farmers market of the year and a corn maze that closes Sunday: your plans for Oct. 29 through Nov. 1. |

Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, which means Missoula gets a full weekend of it.
Here's what's actually on the calendar from Thursday, Oct. 29, through Sunday, Nov. 1, with the details organizers published themselves, all checked Tuesday, Oct. 27. A few were close to selling out, so confirm before you head out.
Thursday: the ghost walk starts the weekend early
“Unseen Missoula: Screams & Spirits” walks downtown's haunted history after dark, presented by the Downtown Missoula Partnership. Thursday's walk runs 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., tickets are $25, and it starts at First Interstate Bank, 101 E. Front St., according to the partnership’s events calendar.
There are three more chances this weekend: Friday from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. and Saturday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Tuesday evening the calendar showed 16 tickets left for Thursday and Saturday and just four for Friday, so Friday is the one to book now.
Friday and Saturday: Rocky Horror takes the Wilma
The Rocky Horror Show LIVE! is back at the Wilma for two nights, with Montana Actors' Theatre on stage and four performances total: an 8 p.m. early show and a midnight late show each night, per Logjam Presents.
Friday's early show was already sold out as of Tuesday. For the Friday night listing, doors open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. show, advance tickets run $65 to $114 and day-of tickets $70 to $114, according to the event page.
All ages are welcome, with parental discretion advised. Costumes are the point: Logjam's own announcement tells you to dust off your fishnets.
Saturday morning: trick-or-treating at the market (and the last one of the year)
The Clark Fork River Market is making Halloween its finale. Saturday is the last outdoor market of the season, and the market says it's “celebrating Halloween AND being named #1 Farmers Market in Montana by American Farmland Trust,” according to its events page.
The plan, in the market's words: “Trick or treat around the Market + the first 75 people to visit the Information Booth get a FREE CFRM fanny pack!”
The market runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 225 S. Pattee St., with live music from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. under Beartracks Bridge (this week: Keith Hardin), per the market.
If you miss it, the indoor winter market opens Nov. 14 at the Badlander and Locals Only on Ryman Street.
All weekend: the corn maze closes out its season
The Missoula Fall Fest at Grass Valley Farms wraps up its seven-weekend run on Sunday, Nov. 1. Hours are Friday 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and it is not open Thursday, according to the festival.
General admission is $25 and includes everything: the corn maze in easy, medium and hard versions, the hayride through the tall corn, a kids' hay maze, the barrel train, the giant hay slide, the pumpkin patch and oversized yard games. Children 3 and under are free.
It's at 5280 Deschamps Lane, and the farm's own directions end with “turn right at the big rooster” — ignore any route your phone suggests through the Ranch Club neighborhood.
Saturday night: where Missoula actually goes
WICKED Halloween: Madhouse Masquerade takes over the Missoula County Fairgrounds from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., with multiple DJs in the Commercial Building, a large stage production, a JIVE band outside, Last Best Cabaret, food trucks and vendors including tarot readers and a body-paint artist, per organizer Bradshaw Media's event listing. Ticket tiers and any age policy aren't spelled out there, so check before you buy.
Downtown, the Badlander runs Halloween Weekend Friday and Saturday, 8:30 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Monk's Bar hosts the Briggs Halloween Bash Saturday, 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., per Destination Missoula’s calendar.
At the Top Hat, Tanner Laws plays Friday at 10:30 p.m. and North Fork Crossing brings a Halloween show Saturday at 10:30 p.m., per Logjam Presents.
If you're bringing kids
The Missoula Public Library has two Halloween programs on its program calendar: TLC's After Hours Halloween Party on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. on Level Two, and a Kids' Halloween Chess Tournament on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Cooper Room.
One thing we couldn't find: a downtown trick-or-treat event or official citywide trick-or-treat hours for 2026. The Downtown Missoula Partnership's calendar lists only the ghost walks, and no city or county notice has been posted. In practice, Missoula neighborhoods set their own pace once it gets dark.

The costume-over-coat question
The National Weather Service has Saturday partly sunny with a high near 50, with a slight chance of light rain later in the day, and Halloween night drops to around 31. Sunday turns wetter, with light rain likely. Forecasts move, so check the latest before deciding whether the costume needs a coat under it.
